Third Place

My husband and I stumbled upon Third Place this weekend, and I’m honestly still thinking about it. This coffee lounge is insane — in the best way possible. From the moment you walk in, it feels like you just stepped into your best friend’s home: warm, inviting, and effortlessly cool. The ambiance is a mix of upscale and boho, with every detail curated to make you want to stay awhile. The handcrafted lattes and teas were spot on, and the bakery items? Absolutely delicious. We tried the passionfruit and coconut cookie, the banana chocolate chip cookie, their signature matcha latte, and an iced latte made with their homemade piloncillo syrup — all incredible. They even had a complimentary bracelet-making table and a pop-up vendor serving artisan Philly cheesesteaks. And the playlist? Top tier. This spot has heart, flavor, and major soul. Can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu — this place is truly a gem!

We drove 45 minutes to visit and we were so happy we did ! The baristas who made our drinks were knowledgeable and friendly. The banana bread was delicious and so were our drinks . My vanilla latte wasn’t too sweet and the specialty drink cowboy tea was so complex! Will be back :)

Pastries are fantastic but expect it to rotate as different makers and chefs will be in residence. Third Place Matcha has Mocktail vibes and extremely delicious. There’s also a cold brew drink that has a Peanut Foam and tasted like a snickers bar! Can’t wait to come back and try more things for its future

Wow. What an incredible find! I went for some coffee but left with a whole gourmet meal! The cold brew with piloncillo and peanut foam was incredibly flavorful and such a fun twist on flavors I grew up with. I also tried out their limited time salad that included eggplant, shrimp, and a variety of elements that I wouldn’t think to pair together. Definitely keep this place in mind for coffee, bites, and a place to work/study.

Beautiful cafe with classy vibes and eclectic decor. Feels like you’re transported elsewhere and not in Houston. The speciality drinks are extremely unique and I have never tasted anything like it before. The cowboy tea is mind blowing. Definitely will be back to try their pastries and drinks!

What a great place to grab asian, fusion food that rotates often as well as their unique drink menu. I got the Third Place Matcha and their sando which were great. Super good service, clean spot with lots of seating and parking. The matcha was very refreshing which i enjoyed. The chips had a lime taste which i wasn’t a huge fan of. The sandwich was good, reminded more of a Bani Mi in terms of flavor than a japanese sando. Overall good spot and i would come back.

Just came through to Third Place for a quick coffee after hearing that this place had just opened up 2 months ago and was super impressed with the atmosphere and vibe of the place. It's extremely unique in terms of the interior design and aesthetic and that's one of the reasons I love trying out different coffee shops in Houston. When I asked about their popular drinks the barista was friendly and really took his time with the Nutty Brew I ordered which is made with their own in-house made peanut foam. Was it worth the $9.50? Id definitely say so! Will definitely be coming back here during my work from home days.
